Flexible Online Learning. Hands-On BLS Skills.
HeartCode BLS is the American Heart Association's blended-learning option for BLS certification. It combines self-paced online learning with a required hands-on skills session.
Complete the online portion on your own schedule, then meet with an instructor to practice and demonstrate the skills you've learned, including adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, ventilations, choking relief, and team-based resuscitation skills.
HeartCode BLS is ideal for healthcare professionals, healthcare students, and others who need an AHA BLS Provider certification but prefer the flexibility of completing the classroom portion online.
Certification: After successfully completing both the online course and hands-on skills session, participants receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.
Important
The HeartCode BLS online course is completed separately and is not included in the skills-session price. Proof of online course completion is required before attending your hands-on skills session.
How Heartsaver BLS WORKS
Step 1
Learn online
Complete the AHA HeartCode BLS online course, paid directly to AHA, at your own pace. Receive completion certificate for online portion and bring it to your skills session.
PURCHASE HEARTCODE BLS FROM AHA HERE
Step 2
Complete your skills session
After completing the online course, schedule your hands-on skills session with OnSite CPR to practice and demonstrate your BLS skills.
Step 3
Get Certified
Successfully complete both portions to receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.
